The head of the Mission participated in the joint meeting of the Ambassadors of Islamic countries with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of finland

The Ambassadors of the Islamic countries  residing in Finland, on Thursday 26th, October 2023, met H.E.  Elina Valtonen the minister for foreign affairs of the Republic of Finland to exchange views on ongoing critical situation in Qaza.

In this meeting, they all emphasized upon the urgent need to establish an immediate ceasefire in order to stop on going killing of innocent people in Gaza and to keep open the corridor for providing all essential humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.

Recalling Finland's positive records in defending human rights and mediating measures, the Ambassadors proposed the Finland’s foreign minister to use her and her country's capacity and influence to mediate for establishing immediate ceasefire and providing constant humanitarian assistance to the innocent  people of Gaza.
