Presenting the Letters of Credence of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Helsinki to the President of the Republic of Finland

H.E. Mr. Javad Aghazadeh, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Helsinki, has met H.E. Mr. Stubb, the Honourable President of the Republic of Finland, in the Presidential Palace, on 6 February 2025, and presented the Letters of Credence to His Excellency in the course of an official ceremony

In the meeting with President Stubb,the new Ambassador conveyed to His Excellency the warm regards of Dr. Pezeshkian, the Honourable President of the Islamic Republic of Iran

A variety of topics were discussed during this meeting, and the follow-up of topics on the agenda of bilateral relations was at the top of the list. Underlining the policy of interaction and constructive dialogue of the 14th government administration of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Ambassador emphasized the readiness of the government for dialogue and cooperation

H.E. President Stubb, the Honourable President of the Republic of Finland, wished the new Ambassador success in fulfilling his mission

H.E. Mr. Aghazadeh has previously served in various positions such as: Head of the Department of International Judicial Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy of the Department of International Specialized Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and International Legal Adviser of the Permanent Missions of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Vienna and Geneva. He has joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1997
