How Peaceful Demonstrations were Diverted to Organized Riots in the I. R.of Iran

This report examines, from a legal perspective, how peaceful demonstrations by shopkeepers and merchants protesting currency fluctuations were diverted into organized riots. It analyzes the role of foreign planning, support, and direct intervention by the United States, the Zionist regime, and their affiliated media outlets in facilitating violence, sabotage, and terrorist activities.

Structured in six chapters, the report addresses the right to peaceful assembly in the Islamic Republic of Iran, violent and disruptive acts against lawful protests, terrorist acts, foreign interference, and attacks on Iran’s diplomatic and consular premises. It also assesses the international legal responsibility of supporting states, the prohibition of financing terrorism, and the obligations of host states to protect diplomatic missions.
